Order NowDo you have any of the following…?
- Poor digestion, bloating, gas, heartburn or acid reflux
- Loose stools or diarrhea
- Constipation or sluggish bowels
- Multiple food sensitivities and reactions
- Conditions like Hashimoto's, Endometriosis, or PCOS
- Other autoimmune disorders (diagnosed or suspected)

- Skin issues like acne, eczema, psoriasis, or chronic rashes
- Hormone imbalance — PMS, heavy bleeding, tender breasts, or fibroids
…then you need to look at your gut.
These are all signs that something bigger is going on with your gut health.
We know that…
- ✔️ 70–80% of your immune system lives in your gut
- ✔️ Inflammation in your gut can lead to inflammation anywhere else in your body
- ✔️ The health of your gut impacts your mental health
In other words…
Gut health affects everything.
The Gut Panel is for you when…
- You've already cleaned up your diet, tried the protocols, and followed the plans — but still feel off.
- You've had "normal" test results, yet your symptoms persist, and no one has connected the dots.
- You're dealing with low energy, mood swings, skin issues, or brain fog that no one is linking to your gut.
- You're on the brink of exploring deeper healing, but want clear, clinical insight before you invest.
- You want to stop throwing supplements at symptoms and start making strategic, root-cause decisions.
"I knew there was something going on with me. Once I saw the test results, I can now understand what's going on in my body. It's just so clarifying."
— Lauren C
No More Guesswork on your Gut
If you've "already had your gut tested" by a gastroenterologist, but you still have lots of gut symptoms, unresolved IBS, or autoimmune issues — it might be time for another test.
Here's what The Gut Panel looks at:

- H. Pylori
- Beneficial bacteria (the good bugs that you need)
- Specific bacteria linked to inflammation, diarrhea, loose stools, abdominal pain, or constipation
- Bacteria and viruses associated with autoimmunity
- Yeast overgrowth markers
- Parasite markers
- Digestive enzyme levels
- Fat digestion marker
- Immune response and allergy markers
- Inflammation markers
- Detox marker (significant for understanding hormone symptoms!)
Sample GI-MAP Report from Patients
At The Functional Foodie Nutrition, Daniyal practices a holistic, whole-human approach to functional medicine and health. After working with clients through hormones, gut health, and root-cause healing, she knows and understands that your root cause may be deeper than one stool test can show.
In her extensive experience, however, she finds that The Gut Panel is the best first step in helping you connect the dots between your body and your symptoms. The Gut Panel will give you clarity as it can help uncover what is driving your symptoms and health issues.
This test does not include treatment protocols. It's designed to provide insight into the root causes of digestive, autoimmune, IBS, or skin symptoms. If you require more support and guidance, Daniyal can guide your next steps and treatment plan through 1:1 Nutrition Counseling.
Gut Healing in Real Life: A Client Story
When this client first came to Daniyal, she was struggling daily with digestive issues and mysterious skin reactions. Bloating, stomach aches, and food sensitivities were constant. After meals, she'd experience uncomfortable reactions and was relying on over-the-counter antihistamines just to get through the day. She suspected food was to blame.
But when Daniyal ran a GI-MAP stool test, the picture became much clearer — and more complex. Her gut showed signs of low stomach acid, H. pylori, and overgrowths of several opportunistic bacteria. Her estrogen detox pathways were sluggish, which can worsen histamine-related symptoms like rashes and food reactions. The test also revealed markers of inflammation and immune activation.
In short, this wasn't just a food issue. Her gut, hormones, and immune system were all involved.
Daniyal supported her with targeted antimicrobials, digestive support, mineral replenishment, and estrogen detoxification tools. She trialed a gluten-free diet, reduced alcohol, and began caring for her body in a whole new way.
The results were undeniable. Within the first month, she barely needed allergy support anymore. By month two, her skin was clearer, her digestion more stable. By month three, she told Daniyal she felt better than she had in years.

What is The Gut Panel process?
Once you place your order, a GI-MAP stool test will be shipped to you within three business days. The GI-MAP is a non-invasive at-home stool test — you collect the sample at home and use the included prepaid shipping label to mail it back.
You'll also receive a brief intake form so Daniyal can learn more about your symptoms — this helps her provide a more personalized interpretation of your results.
Once Daniyal receives your lab results (about two weeks after the lab receives your kit), she will create your personalized video analysis and send it directly to you.
When do I take the test once I receive it?
You can take the test as soon as you receive it! If you've recently been on antibiotics, wait 2 weeks first. The test kit expires within 30 days of purchase, so complete it as soon as possible — the sooner you do, the sooner you get your results.
When will I get my results back?
Once you ship the kit, it takes about 2 weeks for the lab to process your results. Daniyal will prepare your personalized video analysis within 5 days of receiving them. The full process can take up to 3 weeks total.
Do I need to be an existing client?
Not at all. The Gut Panel is available as a standalone service. Many clients start here and then continue with deeper 1:1 support once they see their results — because understanding your gut changes everything.
Is this test covered by insurance?
The GI-MAP is a functional lab test ordered outside of conventional insurance. Most clients pay out-of-pocket. FSA/HSA is accepted — check with your provider to confirm eligibility.
